Position Summary:
The Coordinator Quality Outcomes supports programmatic efforts implemented by the Quality Outcomes Department to advance the culture of safety and quality performance throughout UNM Hospitals. The Coordinator Quality Outcomes assists various Department Leaders and Staff through the support of committees and teams and the management of data and information needed for successful oversight and implementation of quality programs. Assist with developing reports and analysis. Performs various clerical duties and administrative functions to support efficiency of Department Operations, as directed. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.

Detailed responsibilities:
* ADMINISTRATION - Provide administrative support for the department to include coordinating and scheduling meetings, ordering supplies and processing invoices as directed and prioritized by Department Leadership
* DATA - Coordinate and assist with the collection of analysis of data necessary to support committees or teams
* COMMUNICATE - Creates and maintains communication mechanisms within Smartsheet's and/or other platforms to assist in the data-driven management, monitoring and understanding performance outcomes across various programs overseen by the Quality Outcomes Department
* COMMITTEES - Maintain active membership in pertinent committees and provide support or facilitation for these committees, when necessary
* INQUIRIES - Answer inquiries concerning activities and operations of department by referring to and interpreting policies and procedures and triaging to department leadership as appropriate
* DEVELOPMENT - Maintains current knowledge of relevant quality and patient safety concepts as well clinical indicators and patient safety metrics
* CONTACTS - Engage in a variety of contacts outside the department in order to obtain information and arrange meetings
* TYPING - Perform a wide variety of typing assignments which are often confidential in nature
* CUSTOMER RELATIONS - Establish and maintain good rapport and effective working relationships with patients, visitors, physicians and Hospitals employees
* CALLS - Accept and screen telephone calls for appropriate routing
