Where your growth connects with our purpose.

Apply to the UNM Hospital Advanced
Practice Provider Fellowship Program
Our 12-month fully benefited postgraduate training program is tailored for new graduate Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) seeking specialized training prior to launching their full-time careers. The rigorous, standardized, carefully evaluated and expertly mentored clinical and didactic curriculum prioritizes APP growth, offering extensive support and training during your transition-to-practice year. Our fellows develop confidence and clinical excellence in one of our four programs:
Each APP fellowship track is built around core competencies in the chosen specialty, providing immersive exposure to complex care and systems at the only academic medical center and Level 1 Trauma Center in the state of New Mexico. Our APP fellows navigate and collaborate with other service lines, providers and patients across the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Mission
To attract, train, inspire and retain outstanding APPs dedicated to the delivery of exemplary patient care to a complex and diverse patient population.
Vision
To deliver a supportive transition-to-practice program to all new graduate APPs at UNM Hospital.
