Position Summary:
The Supervisor of Inventory Coordinators provides daily leadership, support, and oversight of the Inventory Coordinator team to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely management of supplies across the hospital and health system. This role works closely with the Manager of Value Analysis and other leaders to support operations excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement within the supply chain. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.

Detailed responsibilities:
* SUPERVISION - Directly supervise Inventory Coordinators, providing guidance, training, scheduling, performance evaluation and mentorship
* LEADERSHIP - Foster teamwork, accountability and a culture of excellence through consistent communication, recognition, and professional development
* LEADERSHIP - Support staff in problem-solving and escalate issues appropriately to the Manager of Value Analysis
* INVENTORY MANAGEMENT - Oversee daily inventory activities, including stock rotation, par level management, cycle counts, sourcing, and resolution of discrepancies
* OPERATIONS - Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
* COLLABORATION - Collaborate with supply chain, clinical, and support service departments to ensure product availability and timely issue resolution
* SUPPORT - Support and coordinate biannual inventory and reporting
* PROCESS IMPROVEMENT - Assist the Manager of Value Analysis in implementing supply chain initiatives, process improvements, and product standardization
* STANDARDIZATION - Monitor supply usage trends and recommend changes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs
* CONTRIBUTION - Contribute to technology and system optimization (e.g. ERP, barcoding, etc.)
* LIAISON - Serve ass a liaison between Inventory Coordinators and Leadership to ensure two-way communication of priorities, concerns, and accomplishments
* SUPPORT - Support the rollout of organizational structure changes, new initiatives and supply chain projects
* COLLABORATION - Maintain positive, collaborative relationships with Clinical staff, supply chain partners, and leadership teams

Qualifications


Education:
Essential:
* High School or GED Equivalent

Experience:
Essential:
3 years directly related experience

Nonessential:
Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred Experience with Lawson, Infor, or similar ERP inventory management systems Working knowledge of par level management, cycle counting, and demand forecasting practices

Physical Conditions:
Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
