Position Summary:
Perform a variety of carpentry duties to include repair and install custom cabinetry, molding, trim, windows, doors and other related items; may perform other structural work as required; ensure adherence to accrediting agencies. Ensures adherence to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures. No patient care assignment.

Detailed responsibilities:
* MAINTENANCE - Performs a variety of finish carpentry duties to include construct, repair and install molding, trim, windows, doors, cabinetry and other related items; restore cabinets, flooring and furniture
* MAINTENANCE - Interpret structural blueprints, field drawing and project layouts
* PATIENT CARE - Participate in ERT and child abduction programs; participate in annual competency reviews, tests and in-services
* EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES - Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promote workplace safety
* ASSISTANCE - Assist other department personnel as needed
* RELATED WORK - Perform related duties and responsibilities as required

Physical Conditions:
Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
