Position Summary:
Responsible for coordination and oversight of UNMH internship programs, community outreach programs and events, to include job fairs, college relations, community groups and others as assigned to provide information and recruit candidates to UNM Hospitals. Responsible for working with the UNMH recruitment advertising agency on maintenance and updates to the Talentbrew recruiting website and working with Organizational and Professional Development on the Talent Acquisition portion of the HR dashboard. Responsible for producing the Affirmative Action Plan annually and other special projects as assigned. Ensure adherence to hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.
Detailed responsibilities:
* PLAN - Coordinate the preparation of job fairs, college recruitment drives and special employment and Human Resources events
* COMMUNITY - Establish and maintain rapport with community agencies and academic institutions
* ADVERTISEMENTS - Assist in preparing and proof-reading advertisements for recruitment
* COMMUNICATION – Communicate information about staffing and recruitment programs and initiatives utilizing standard communication tools identified for all levels of the organization
* SOCIAL MEDIA – Work with and assist the Social Media Coordinator in support of and to communicate recruitment events and initiatives
* DASHBOARD – Work with Organizational and Professional Development on the Talent Acquisition portion of the HR dashboard
* RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES - Develops and plans community outreach strategies to support recruitment initiatives; seeks out and coordinates events; identifies opportunities for participation
* INTERNSHIP - Provide oversight and leadership for the UNMH Internship programs
* AAP – Responsible for producing the Affirmative Action Plan on an annual basis, to include implementation, review, reporting, legal and regulatory compliance
* ADVERTISING - Work with and provide guidance to the UNMH recruitment advertising agency on maintenance and updates to the Talentbrew recruiting website and other advertising projects as assigned
* PROJECTS - Oversee and conduct special projects as assigned
* DEVELOPMENT - Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, attending in-services, meetings and workshops
