Position Summary:
Responsible for tasks related to improving the efficiency of critical business operations through technology. Assists in organizing on-going projects including following up project plans and schedules. Acts as the liaison between the IT department and other departments throughout the Health System. Participates in stakeholder meetings and ensures that business objectives are met. Manages tasks, documents and information and report distribution. Defines the scope of individual projects by analyzing system requirements and business objectives. Ensures adherence to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures. No patient care assignment.
Detailed responsibilities:
* ADMINISTRATION - Perform various administrative functions such as monitoring expenditures, preparing reports, correspondence, invoice processing, budget paperwork and MOU preparation
* ADMINISTRATION - Perform routine payroll and personnel functions
* REPORTING - Prepare and maintain Kronos time entry reports
* CORRESPONDENCE - Compose and distribute correspondence, memorandums, and reports of a technical or confidential nature
* ASSISTS - Assists Project Managers in organizing on-going projects; share relevant documentation and reports with project teams
* PROJECTS - Works closely with IT leadership, teammates, and interdepartmental stakeholders to define and refine project scopes, milestones, timelines
* PROJECTS - Maintains and monitors project plans, documentation and follow up on important actions and decisions
* PROJECTS – Maintains an in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars i.e. timeframes, financial, outcomes
* PROJECTS - Assess project risks and issues and provides solutions where applicable
* DEVELOPMENT - Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, attending in-services, meetings and workshops
* KRONOS EDITOR - Perform routine payroll functions for the department; monitor and maintain sick and annual leave records
